When we look to that which is greater than ourselves, we often find courage and hope beyond our imagination. In our faiths, our families and in our friends we search for that something greater. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Va. Tech. community during this tragic time. The school’s motto, Ut Prosim (so that I may serve), is a promise that one makes to oneself to reach beyond personal needs. It is a pledge to a more noble cause, a higher calling. It is the hope that through our efforts our darkest hours will pass and light will come again.
