A Resting Roast

No running to record, but some food. Primer Brother-in-Law assembled another fantastic meal Sunday night. He prepared the roast pork with toasted sesame seeds and an oriental inspired glaze. The glaze was oil, white wine vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger and garlic. Here’s the roast resting as Brother-in-Law worked. The salad was romaine lettuce, tomatoes and Vermont sharp cheddar cheese topped with garlic parmesan cheese croutons. I’m not a big dressing guy, so I had my salad dry. String beans were tossed with garlic, butter and beef stock. Go garlic.

Dinner went long and Primer Nephew got involved writing a newsletter to recount his weekend, so Primer Niece and Nephew’s magic show was postponed. Here’s Primer Niece giving us a preview of what to expect next weekend.
