It was still hot and humid today. Dewpoint at 76º F, which meant that as soon as I stepped outside, my glasses fogged and I found myself coated with a layer of moisture. This is the kind of weather that usually does not require much of a warm-up. Today, however, there was some tightness in my left hamstring and my breathing felt very restricted. Never found a groove, and cut it short once again. Either I’m going to have to wake up an hour or two earlier or I’m going to have to wait until after midnight to try and get in a run. We’ll see, but I’m leaning towards the former.

I've been getting out around 5:45 a.m., and it's been pretty great. Congrats on your training, sounds focused.

Morning runs are the eventual goal. It may be a little while before I can arrange my schedule to fit 'em in.

Have you secured a spot for this November?
