So, two days in a row I was unfit to complete an intended workout. Maybe it wasn't such a great idea to try to shift the runs to the morning without making adjustments to my sleeping habits. Today I left the run for the evening. Much more relaxed. The day was over. The heat seems to have broken. Most of the crowd around here has headed home. First 5K was at an easy pace. The second, I ran on the track alternating striding 100m and jogging recoveries. 12+ laps around the oval. To my surprise, it went by very quickly. Something about finding freedom in structure. Then again, maybe I'm just a simpleton. Quads are barking, but in a good way. Everything else seems to be functioning without incident.
